Insoo & Priscilla {love} 25

Traditionally, I thought the girl who catches the bouquet at a wedding is supposed to end up with guy who catches the garter. Not Priscilla. She caught the bouquet and ended up falling for the MC. Now they’re planning for their own wedding.

Braving sweltering heat, a minor plague of gnats, and a sky that was threatening rain, we still had a blast together. I love being with people who know how to laugh! My favorite part of the shoot is that almost every time I pulled my camera up to start shooting, Insoo would be staring adoringly at Priscilla. It was beautiful.

Insoo and Priscilla, I wish you all the happiness in your new life together. Marriage is a gift from God!

Jason & Jewel {Couples} 2

Photographing is usually part work, part play; but this shoot was ALL play! Jewel is great photographer herself and was already brimming with ideas for props.  Can I bring my own couch and antique props? Um, Y.E.S! The whole set-up was like a photographer’s dream. And how can you not love a husband who is willing to dress up?!  Thanks, Jason & Jewel, for all the fun!

Andrew & Jane {Couples} 8

If you take a gander (just felt like using that word) through my photos, you’ll see that a bulk of it involves babies and children. I love kids, and I’m convinced that photographing a toddler burns twice as many calories as kick boxing. But as much as I enjoy small people, it was a treat Saturday to get a chance to have a shoot with two adults. They stood where I told them, never threw themselves on the ground, and cooperated without me even once having to bribe them with animal crackers…it was a beautiful thing!
Andrew and Jane have been married for 3 years and decided that it was high time they had fresh and more casual photos of themselves. We had a fun hour as we chatted and roamed around a little town. I have no idea why it works this way, but it seems that only gorgeous women hire me…and their men aren’t too shabby either! :o
